Dr Rhiannon Smith was born and raised in Adelaide and graduated with a MBBS from the University of Adelaide in 2007. She then worked in the public hospital system in SA, developing a keen interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She went on to gain a RANZCOG Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics through Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital.
Rhiannon has a passion for providing quality obstetric and postnatal care for families. Having had a challenging breastfeeding journey with both of her boys, Dr Smith is currently working towards becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to further develop her skills and interest in breastfeeding medicine. She thoroughly enjoys getting to know families and supporting them through a special time in their lives, and understands the needs of new families. Dr Smith has recently achieved accreditation in Neurodevelopmental Care of the Infant under Dr Pamela Douglas from the Possums Clinic in Queensland. In her spare time, Rhiannon enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling, reading and exercising. She is thrilled to have recently launched Adelaide Mums and Babies Clinic with her colleague, Dr Briony Andrew, operating out of 4 clinics across Adelaide.
